Relax your arms to the sides of your body and stand tall. Measure across the widest part of your breasts over the bra. Round this number to the closest whole number again if it is a fraction.
Subtract the second measurement from the first measurement. This will be the cup size. Usually, each inch of difference equals one cup letter. For example, an end result of 3 inches would be about a cup size C.
Choose your fabric wisely. The wrong bra fabric could make breasts look textured or lumpy. Under form-fitting clothing, wear lingeries with a smooth, seamless finish, such those made with nylon, cotton and satin. Lace bras can be worn under loose-fitting clothing and during intimate moments.
Make an investment. If you intend to wear a padded bra every day, purchase several. And remember that you can use a few inserts to modify the bras you already own.
Use Comfy Straps, which are made of soft silicone that shapes to the shoulder. You attach these to your bra straps and they keep the strap from slipping while making the straps more comfortable on the shoulders. They are hand washable and reusable, which is an added benefit.
Use invisible bra straps on your bra. These straps attach to any bra that has removable straps. They are clear and blend in with your skin tone to make them hardly noticeable. You can find these online at very reasonable prices.
Wear strapless bras to keep your bra from showing. You can even purchase bras made of silicone that have absolutely no straps on them and no back, which are virtually invisible under sheer clothing.
Cut your fabric out using the pattern. Pin the pattern together and check that it fits snugly against your bust.
Cut along the side seams of your garment 2 inches below where you plan to add the shelf bra.
Measure your ribcage just under your bust and divide the number in half. Measure the elastic to this amount and cut it. Use your sewing machine to sew the elastic directly onto the bottom of your shelf bra.
Sew the sides and top of the shelf bra into the garment. Resew the sides of the garment together, holding the shelf bra in place.MORE:cheap sexy lingerie
